2017-START WITH WHY!

It’s being a while you read from me. I prayed for you on the 1st. This year 2017 will be your best year ever. You will achieve all your dreams as you take action for the dreams to be realised.

Just like I had changed my routine in the last few months, I want you to do something different before business becomes usual in 2017. I want you to go beyond the normal New Year resolutions. I want to Start 2017 with why.

Be the uncommon person this month. Ask yourself the why question before you attempt anything. If you answer the question why correctly, you will find it easier to figure out what and how to be a better you in 2017.

Why is your life preserved until now? Why are you still in that job now? Why are you holding on to the past? Why are you in that friendship or relationship? Why are you giving less than your best to your spouse, child, friend or employer? Why are you not doing what you have craved to do instead of living to impress others?

Why do you want 2017 to be different to other years?

Why is an important question and set the direction for how, when, where and other questions….

Life is simply about asking and answering questions through your desire, action and behaviour. There are two decision parts in your brain. The Limbic and the Neocortex parts in the brain play a major function in your life and in what you will do in 2017.

Let me save you from stressing google.com and the science jargons.

Starting with why is to use the Limbic Brain which is responsible for your feelings, behaviours and decision but with no capacity for language unlike the outer part-the Neocortex.

Starting with why is to think and communicate from inside-out and not outside-in. The form and quality of your communication with yourself drive your feelings and behaviours.

It will make a huge difference if you can start your endeavours in 2017 with why. If the reasons are known and are intuitively obtained, the right level of feelings and behaviours to generate your desired results will be easier than expected.

Why must you be among the best on your job? Why must you follow your passion? Why must you serve God? Why must you fight injustice? Why must you save and invest more in 2017? Why must you wake up and chase your dreams?

Organisations that start with why produce leading products through the best set of employees. Countries that start with why creates better opportunities and individual that start with why makes the best out of anything irrespective of the economic situation. Don’t be fooled by the economic depression, start with why. All things are possible if you start strong through your behaviour.
