WHAT TRANSFORMED THEM?

Posted on February 9, 2014

Hey Friends,

Welcome to a new week. This week, I want you to be an initiator. I want you to take action on that thing you have been dreaming of. However, I would want you to be as candid as possible in answering this question.

Have you ever been motivated by a speaker, a movie or an event and woke up the next day, felt unmotivated?

I know you have been motivated by the story of:

Steve Jobs: He dropped out of school and made impacts with Apple products.

Bill Gates: He dropped out of school, and he is today a giant in the software industry.

Natalie Du Toit: Her leg was amputated, competed and became the world most decorated Olympians.

What of the Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison, Wole Soyinka, Tony Elumelu, Aliko Dangote and other notable world changers?

What did they do that changed their stories? Was their changes, a chance, luck or a product of deliberate action?

 WHAT TRANSFORMED THEM?

Just, like these people, you are also endowed with the acres of diamonds which if discovered and well cultivated will take you to the headlines. They simply lived a responsibility-based, change-driven and possibility-cantered life after the specific change in their levels of awareness. This is what my book Transform Yourself is all about. It is a must-read as you start your journey into the new year. It is time to move from being motivated to being transformed into the person you really desire to be, no matter where you are. The future is in your hand.

This week is a week of reflection for me. I will be having some series of book-signing ceremony in the United Kingdom. I want you to also reflect on your dreams, and life using the 5 major qualities of Initiators below. You must initiate even if you can not invent anything.  You must:

  • Know what you want. This start from what you really desire.
  • Push yourself to take action. Action is a key factor to achieving your desire.
  • Take more risk- your change of story is embedded in the new risk you can take.
  • Be ready to make more mistakes-don’t be afraid of failure.
  • Go with your gut.

I will see you after my book-signing ceremonies. Please make the best use of this week. I believe in you, and I know you have all it takes to make the huge difference.

Do have a passion-filled week.

You’ll succeed!
